Underwater Dreams– the documentary about the Spare Parts project- Sunday, February 3rd 2:30 pm

There is a lot to get involved in this month and next!

Check out the Health Fair volunteer opportunity at the Salvation Army

KROC center.

Also, the public library is having a city-wide reading program. The first book is called Spare Parts.  Even if you don’t read the book, there will be several cultural opportunities to take part in such as a Folkloric dance exhibition, movies and an author visit that all pertain to the book.

Let’s get a group together to participate in these wonderful opportunties!

There is an excellent opportunity to celebrate and learn about the Day of the Dead at NORTH SALEM HIGH SCHOOL on Sunday, October 30th from 12:00 to 4:00 pm

Hispanic Heritage Month

Be sure to wander the Foreign Language Department halls between September 15 and October 15 to read and discover about accomplished Americans with Spanish origins. There may also be some extra activities sponsored by the Spanish Club. Also- listen carefully to the passing time music for music by Spanish and Latin artists.
